Great American Music Hall hosting Ukraine benefit feat. Dan Lebowitz, Reed Mathis, Sonny Smith & more

This Saturday (4/23) the legendary Great American Music Hall in San Francisco is hosting a benefit show for the ongoing crisis in Ukraine. They're working with a wonderful organizer in SF (she is Russian) and 10 local artists, with 100% of ticket sales and donations going to the largest children's hospital in Kyiv, Ohmatdyt Childrens Hospital.

We've listed the lineup below, but it's sure to be a night of fantastic jams featuring Dan Lebowitz, Reed Matthis, Sonny Smith, SF's Poet Laureate, and more. You can find more info here:

    Sonny Smith – local legend, founder of Sonny & the Sunsets
    Dan Lebowitz – founder of Animal Liberation Orchestra (ALO), frequent Grateful Dead collaborator
    Tongo Eisen-Martin – San Francisco's Poet Laureate
    Reed Mathis – former member of Tea Leaf Green, frequent Grateful Dead collaborator
    Asher Belsky – 17 year-old SF guitar phenom, collaborator with Allman Family Revival, Marcus King, and more
    Mayya – SF artist, founder of Mayya & the Revolutionary Hell Yeah
    U.GIN – a new project from local artist Eugene Tarasov
    Gumby's Junk – art rock / post punk band from Oakland
    Bite – Bay Area punk outfit
