Grind City Amp, Memphis’ new 4,500-seat open-air riverfront venue, continues its inaugural season this summer and fall with a growing slate of national touring acts and special performances, including Wilco, The Avett Brothers with Drive-By Truckers, and Ole 60 with Arcy Drive, with additional programming to be announced.
The season also includes Undertale: The Determination Symphony on October 2, marking a first-of-its-kind orchestral presentation in Memphis featuring a 25-piece live orchestra performing music from the hit indie game UNDERTALE, accompanied by synchronized gameplay visuals for a fully immersive concert experience.
Following a landmark opening in April featuring Alabama Shakes and a free community grand opening celebration with MonoNeon, Eric Gales, Cedric Burnside, Joybomb, and more, the venue has quickly established itself as a new home for live music on the Mississippi riverfront.
Located in Uptown Memphis and developed through a partnership between Grind City Brewing and veteran concert promoter Nick Barbian of Barbian Entertainment, Grind City Amp was designed to expand the city’s mid-sized outdoor venue capacity while strengthening its role as a destination for national touring artists.
The venue’s inaugural season will continue to roll out programming through the summer and fall. Future programming will also include the return of Grind City Fest, now permanently housed at Grind City Amp, along with ongoing efforts to spotlight Memphis-based artists alongside national touring acts.
Tickets for upcoming performances are available now. For more information, visit GrindCityAmp.com and follow @GrindCityAmp and @GrindCityBrew on social media.
