Northlands is thrilled to announce that after a nearly three year hiatus, Hayley Jane & The Primates and are bringing a reunion show to the stage at their weekend long music and arts festival June 24-25, 2022.

“We were psyched when we heard Hayley was coming back from the West Coast for a bit,” says Northlands Director Seth McNally.

Hayley Jane & The Primates combine Americana, soul and rock & roll with rich lyrical imagery that electrifies the heart. At the helm is female powerhouse, Hayley Jane. She leads the band through an infectious live experience filled with powerful vocal range, vibrant dance choreography and dramatic performance that captivates her devoted fanbase.   Her live full band shows are nothing short of explosive energy coupled with powerhouse vocals, charisma, humor and passion.

Relix Magazine take is, "Hayley Jane and the Primates’ sonic expression [comes from] their wide-spanning influences, from Phish to Ween to Erykah Badu.”

“We’re a genre catastrophe,” said Hayley Jane. “It’s beautiful.”

Located just over the Massachusetts border, Northlands Festival will bring our community together to experience the joy of personal connection through music and the arts, all in the beautiful setting of Cheshire Fairgrounds in Swanzey, New Hampshire.

“Personally, I’m loving the flow of the lineup,” said Mike Chadinha, Northlands Director of Operations. “Haley’s coming, and the band is back together!  Love it.”

The list of artists that will grace the stage at Northlands Music & Arts Festival include JOE RUSSO’S ALMOST DEAD, LOTUS, TWIDDLE, LETTUCE, MELVIN SEALS GRATEFUL REVUE (Featuring JOHN KADLECIK, VINNIE AMICO (MOE.), JENNIFER HARTSWICK, REED MATHIS & ROOSEVELT COLLIER), YONDER MOUNTAIN STRING BAND, THE MOVEMENT, DOPAPOD, HALEY JANE & THE PRIMATES, PINK TALKING FISH, LESPECIAL, DOGS IN A PILE, JOE SAMBA and THE TRICHOMES.

To soak in the full adventure, festival goers will also be immersed in camping, installation art, performance art, eclectic local food trucks, a diverse beer garden, local craft artisans, inspiring lighting, kind vibes & more!    At its roots Northlands began as a community driven project born out of the pandemic. That initial spirit has now turned into a mission to be an economic driver for the local economy by hiring local production and operations crews to work the fest, as well as a focus on local food and craft vendors.   Northlands continues its sustainability initiatives through locally sourced foods, recycling programs and more. There will be a charitable component again this year, similar to last year’s partnership and donation to Music Drives Us, a nonprofit that puts musical instruments and programs in local public schools.

Both one and two day festival passes are now on-sale, as well as new camping and hotel options. More information and tickets can be found online at www.northlandslive.com.
