Festival organizers from Noise Pop Industries and The Mill Valley Chamber of Commerce are excited to reveal the 2024 music lineup as the boutique, all-ages Mill Valley Music Festival officially returns to Northern California on May 11-12.

Two-day GA and VIP passes are on sale now through www.MillValleyMusicFest.com, with additional ticket options for Teens, Seniors, and Kids. Fans are encouraged to act fast as the first allotment of passes sold out last fall, and ticket pricing will continue to increase as the event date approaches.

“As we head into year three of what started as a somewhat hair-brained idea to rejuvenate and inspire our community by reveling in the deep, historic roots of live music in our town, we’re grateful on a number of fronts – the amazing support we’ve had so far, the growth we’ve experienced each year, and the patience and support from our neighbors, our partners, and our stakeholders. We’ll continue to raise the profile of this town we’re blessed to call home,” said Jim Welte, Executive Director of the Mill Valley Chamber of Commerce.

Musical tastes of all types will be on full display at the festival next spring from indie rock to soul-filled blues to folk, Americana, and more while drawing in acclaimed music artists from across the country - many of whom will be performing in the Mill Valley area for the very first time.

The multi-Grammy Award-nominated indie-folk band Fleet Foxes (Seattle, WA) will make a highly-anticipated return to the Bay Area to headline this year’s outdoor fest, alongside modern-day bluegrass legends Greensky Bluegrass (Kalamazoo, MI) as the Appalachia-influenced five-piece band continues to perform in support of their latest acclaimed project Stress Dreams.

After dropping what’s been heralded as one of the best debut albums in the past two years, the soul-filled three-piece band Thee Sacred Souls (San Diego, CA) will also perform at Mill Valley next May, alongside country singer-songwriter Margo Price (Nashville, TN), who just re-released her latest album Strays this past fall with several brand new tracks; and eight-piece rock-and-soul band St. Paul & The Broken Bones (Birmingham, AL).

Additional festival performers include Eric D. Johnson’s indie rock project Fruit Bats (Chicago, IL), who just dropped the band’s first-ever fully-self-produced album last year called A River Running to Your Heart;  funk icons Rebirth Brass Band (New Orleans, LA) who have received several Grammy Awards among other accolades since first forming as a band over four decades ago; and public defender-turned-R&B songstress Danielle Ponder (Rochester, NY).

Rounding out the 2024 lineup features a pair of NorCal natives and acclaimed singer-songwriters - Elliott Peck and Eric Lindell - with Mill Valley Music Festival serving as welcomed hometown shows for these local artists.

Following a successful Year 2 event last spring that hosted 10,000+ total patrons, 20+ music acts, and 50+ local businesses, all while expanding to two days for the first time, the Mill Valley Music Festival team gears up for a return to Friends Field while transforming the Mill Valley Community Center into a sprawling outdoor festival grove suited for music-lovers of all ages.

Festival-goers this spring will have access to more than a dozen incredible music performances spread across two outdoor stages while offering guests a true taste of the good life in Mill Valley that includes a large and curated assortment of the region’s best artisans, food vendors, and philanthropic causes, plus family-friendly activities like a roller skating rink, gaming lounge, immersive art installations, local craft beer, hidden speakeasies, and so much more.
