Noise Pop Festival, San Francisco Bay Area’s premiere indie music and arts festival, has announced today the fourth wave of music acts confirmed for the 28th annual week-long fest taking place from Monday, February 24 to Sunday, March 1. Festival badges, along with tickets to previously announced shows, are on sale now at www.noisepopfest.com. Tickets to today’s announced shows will be available for purchase beginning this Friday, January 17 at 10 a.m. PT.

Previous waves of music announced for Noise Pop 2020 include a diverse mix of established and exciting up-and-coming music acts across numerous genres including Raphael Saadiq, Maya Jane Coles, Best Coast, Duster, Helado Negro, Shigeto Live Ensemble, Jamila Woods, Injury Reserve, Bag Raiders, Lower Dens and many more. This new round of Phase 4 artists released today continues the festivals’ highly selective curation of music performers from around the country and internationally, which ultimately offers attendees a truly unique festival-going experience that features a week-long playground for multi-genre music discovery across the greater San Francisco Bay area.

Among today’s new lineup additions include two more rare performances including a DJ set from the critically-acclaimed chillwave singer/songwriter/producer Washed Out; Grammy Award-nominated emcee and Dreamville Records signee Bas, whose latest studio album, Milky Way, received rave reviews from fans and critics alike; and an intimate duo performance from Jennylee & Theresa of the LA-based indie rock band Warpaint. Other notable newly announced performers include critically-acclaimed post-rock and experimental rock band Califone; San Francisco-based, seminal boogaloo revivalists The Greyboy Allstars, who are currently celebrating their 25th anniversary as a band; and Oakland-based Quinn DeVeaux & The Blue Beat Review, whose performance at Noise Pop Festival 2020 will serve as an album release show for the band’s latest project.

Additional acts announced today include Oakland-born indie-pop and R&B singer/songwriter Tim Atlas, who just released last November his latest EP, Together Lonely; L.A. producer and DJ Falcons; Mutual Benefit, the critically-acclaimed music project from singer/songwriter Jordan Lee; LA-based dream-pop and shoegaze trio Froth, who just released their latest album, Duress, this past summer; Bakersfield, CA singer-songwriter, Junior Mesa, who just released his debut EP, Peace, in late 2019; and alternative rock and pop singer, Angelica Garcia, whose second studio album, Cha Cha Palace, is rumored to drop in late February of this year.

Through a continued effort to offer Noise Pop Festival attendees ample opportunities for music discovery, the festival is also chalked full of exciting up-and-coming and more underground artists. Acts include Dallas-based folk-rock band Luna Luna; psychedelic rockers Rudy De Anda; indie rock artist fredo disco, who continues to perform in support of his 2019 album Very Cool Music For Very Cool People; Toronto-based Selfish Things, who recently released their first full-length studio album, Logos, in September 2019; and pop-punk band Young Culture who continue to tour in support of their latest EP, (This Is) Heaven; as well as folk-pop singer/songwriter Lily Kershaw; and Victoria Canal, a rising Spanish-American singer-songwriter who recently released her latest single “Drama” that Rolling Stone Magazine called a “Song You Need To Know”; among many others.
