Double-platinum artist Newton Faulkner has made a triumphant return with his eighth studio album OCTOPUS, released via Cooking Vinyl, climbing to No. 9 in the midweek charts. The album marks a powerful comeback for the beloved UK singer-songwriter after five years away.

The impressive chart placement is fueled by innovative ChartBreaker bundles available at all major outlets, giving fans great value while directly supporting Teenage Cancer Trust (TCT). Limited-edition “bootleg” CDs are stamped for charity, with proceeds funding vital care and services for young people aged 13–24 facing cancer.

ChartBreaker Bundle Options

  • Vinyl Collector Bundle (£24): Standard CD (£5) + Standard LP (£15) + Digital Deluxe (£4)

“We’ve just had the midweeks in and OCTOPUS is sitting in the Top 10! It’s been a long time since I’ve been up here, and I honestly can’t thank you enough. The support for this record has been overwhelming and it means the world to me. The best way you can support the album is to pick up a physical copy or download on iTunes for just £4.99. Unfortunately streaming doesn’t have a big impact on independent artists in the charts. Let’s keep it going!” – Newton Faulkner

About the Album

Recorded in Faulkner’s East London studio, OCTOPUS showcases his evolution from acoustic foundations to bold electronic experimentation. The transformation that began with cutting his iconic dreadlocks on stage at London’s Islington Assembly Hall in November 2024 has fueled his most authentic and adventurous work yet—now rewarded with chart success.
