Osiris Media announces new artist podcasts - Milk Carton Kids, Snarky Puppy and more

Sad Songs Variety Show, starring the Milk Carton Kids, is a new kind of multimedia experience. Bringing music and conversation together in an audio and video series, hosts Joey Ryan and Kenneth Pattengale will bring guests from music, film, comedy, art, and more for witty conversation and a live musical performance. The Milk Carton Kids will join Osiris Media CEO onstage at Podcast Movement Evolutions on Friday, March 25, 2022, at 4pm PT for a discussion about their show and the intersection of music and podcasting.

Talking Circles, created with Umphrey’s McGee, is a track-by-track exploration of the band's upcoming album, “Asking For A Friend.” Each episode breaks down a song from the new album using band interviews, demos, and other musical elements. Empire Central is a podcast about the making of Snarky Puppy's forthcoming album. Snarky Puppy has received multiple GRAMMY awards and with a cast of 25 rotating musicians, their creative process is unlike any other. Through interviews, demo recordings, and live audio capture from the recording session in Dallas, Empire Central is destined to bring listeners deep into the world of Snarky Puppy and their highly anticipated new album. Coming Summer 2022.

Inappropriate Happiness is a new weekly podcast with musician Karina Rykman (Marco Benevento, Ween) and co-host Isaac Sloane that focuses on music and concert news, and stories from the world of music. The podcast gives listeners a glimpse into the life of a traveling musician who is endlessly fascinated by the thrill of a live show, and who follows the ups and downs of an ever-changing industry.
