MoonGoddess Entertainment and Brotherly Love Productions are teaming up to present two nights of Perpetual Groove at State Theatre in St. Petersburg on July 31 and August 1. This news comes on the heels of the band's long anticipated announcement of a reunion show at Georgia Theatre in Athens happening this May. The beloved, Georgia native jam band has been on indefinite hiatus since April of 2013 and much to their fan's delight, are returning for a limited run of reunion shows this summer including two nights at State Theatre for the band's only Florida stops this year.

Perpetual Groove was formed in Savannah, GA in 1997 and really took form in 2001, when keyboardist Matt McDonald and drummer Albert Suttle joined up with co-founding members Brock Butler and Adam Perry. The band spent the next decade touring relentlessly and gaining a cult following along the way. All original members are slated to hit the stage for these shows.

Tickets go on sale THIS Thursday, February 26, 2015, at 12 pm EST through Ticketfly and are expected to sell out quickly. The band's Georgia Theatre two-night run sold out in minutes, and the addition of two Florida stops will likely do the same. As of now, the Georgia Theatre and State Theatre shows are the only stops confirmed, and the band has said they will play "select dates in 2015."
