Baltimore psychedelic funk torchbearers Pigeons Playing Ping Pong are keeping the momentum roaring into the back half of 2026 with the announcement of an expansive Fall Tour. Following a jam-packed summer calendar featuring a debut Hawaii run, Levitate Music and Arts Festival, Flood City Music Festival, a special appearance at Nationals Park in D.C., Domefest, Secret Dreams Festival, Flocktoberfest, and The Moonshiner’s Ball, the quartet will return to the road for a 16-date headline run beginning October 23 at Seattle’s historic The Showbox.
The newly announced itinerary winds through the Pacific Northwest, Mountain West, Southwest, California, Midwest, and Northeast, with stops in Portland, Boise, Salt Lake City, Tempe, Los Angeles, San Diego, Berkeley, Fort Collins, Des Moines, Chicago, Grand Rapids, and Cleveland. The tour culminates with a three-night stand at Brooklyn Bowl, one of the band’s most reliable Northeast strongholds and a fitting finale for a run built around deep grooves, packed rooms, and the kind of multi-night momentum PPPP thrives on.
Joining PPPP on select dates are rising jam-scene standouts Sqwerv and Dizgo, two groups that have quickly earned reputations for adventurous musicianship, fearless improvisation, and high-energy live performances. Kendall Street Company will also join the festivities for a special appearance at Cleveland’s House of Blues. Support for Los Angeles, San Diego, Berkeley, and the Brooklyn Bowl weekend will be announced at a later date.
The announcement arrives during a particularly energized chapter for Pigeons Playing Ping Pong. Following the 2025 release of their eighth studio album Feed The Fire, the band opened 2026 with a sold-out Denver New Year’s Eve celebration at the Ogden Theatre with Magic Beans, then carried that spark into a string of jam-packed spring performances in Burlington, Albany, Portland, and beyond. A pro-shot performance of “Poseidon,” filmed during the band’s 2/26 show and featuring guitarist Rob Compa, offered another reminder of the renewed sharpness, playful risk-taking, and deep-pocket chemistry currently defining PPPP onstage.

Nearly two decades into their journey, Pigeons Playing Ping Pong continues to evolve with the addition of Baltimore keyboardist Jon Brady for their spring and summer shows, while preserving the precision, personality, and joyous unpredictability that made them one of the most enduring live acts on the modern jam circuit. As Feed The Fire continues to fuel their live evolution, the band has reached a new level of cohesion and confidence without losing the colorful abandon that keeps The Flock coming back night after night.
