Pigeons Playing Ping Pong will return to the mountains of West Virginia this summer for the 2026 edition of their beloved, independently curated festival Domefest, set for August 6–8 at Ace Adventure Resort in the heart of the New River Gorge. Following last year’s success at their new location, Domefest 2026 once again brings together the band’s extended musical family for three days of immersive performances, community connection, and outdoor adventure.
Anchored by three nights of Pigeons Playing Ping Pong, the weekend showcases a handpicked lineup spanning funk, jam, soul, rock, and improvisational explorations. Joining PPPP at Domefest this year are Spafford, The Motet, Mihali, Tauk, Dizgo, Kendall Street Company, Sicard Hollow, Sneezy, and a wide-ranging cast of rising and established artists, culminating in the return of the fan-favorite collaborative set dubbed The Domefest All-Stars.
Set against the breathtaking backdrop of the New River Gorge, Domefest continues its tradition of blending music with adventure. Festivalgoers can spend their days whitewater rafting, zip lining, hiking, and exploring Ace Adventure Resort’s expansive grounds before gathering for high-energy performances beginning in the afternoon and running into the twilight hours. With camping, cabins, on-site dining and shower facilities, and waterpark access, the venue offers a fully immersive festival experience unlike any other.
Founded and curated by Pigeons Playing Ping Pong, Domefest has grown into a cornerstone summer gathering for fans affectionately known as The Flock. Each year emphasizes collaboration, spontaneity, and community, values that remain at the core of the festival’s identity as it returns to the same celebrated location that hosted a triumphant weekend in 2025.
