Baltimore psychedelic funk torchbearers Pigeons Playing Ping Pong are bringing the party back to the mountains this fall with the return of the beloved Flocktoberfest, set for Friday, October 9, 2026 at Pisgah Brewing Company in Black Mountain, North Carolina. Following an appearance at Livingston, KY’s Moonshiner’s Ball on October 10, the band will deliver an intimate “An Evening With” performance at Chattanooga’s Barrelhouse Ballroom on Sunday, October 11.
Nestled just outside Asheville, Pisgah Brewing Company has become a beloved gathering spot for The Flock over the years, and this year’s Flocktoberfest promises another immersive night of high-energy funk, psychedelic exploration, and communal celebration in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Joining PPPP for the evening will be Asheville favorites Hustle Souls, delivering their signature blend of soulful rock, funk, and brass-driven energy.
The newly announced Chattanooga date will give Pigeons Playing Ping Pong the space to stretch out across multiple sets with no opener. Long celebrated for their adventurous improvisation and explosive crowd connection, PPPP continue to evolve nearly two decades into their career, delivering some of the sharpest and most cohesive performances of their journey.
The announcement arrives as 2025 studio record Feed The Fire continues fueling a relentless touring cycle for the band throughout 2026. Now eyeing a jam-packed calendar featuring standout performances this spring and summer, including upcoming appearances at Domefest, Levitate Music & Arts Festival, and a debut Hawaii run, the quartet shows no signs of slowing down.
Artist presale tickets for both dates will be available beginning Wednesday, May 27 at 12:00 PM ET through Thursday, May 28 at 10:00 PM ET (Password: FLOCKTOBER). A local venue presale will follow on Thursday, May 28 from 10:00 AM – 10:00 PM ET, with general on-sale beginning Friday, May 29 at 10:00 AM ET.
A limited number of VIPPPP Meet & Greet Packages will also be available for purchase.
