The remarkable jam-centric band Spafford delivered a high-energy show on Saturday September 23rd at Cat's Cradle in Carrboro, NC. The second set featured a monster double cover of Men at Work with a "Down Under" and "Who Can it Be Now" musical sandwich. Spafford takes these 80's era classics to the next level with the addition of extended jams and high-energy peaks throughout each of these songs.

The encore punctuated the night with the funky, jam-heavy "It's a Bunch," a Spafford original which always includes stellar solos by lead guitarist/vocalist Brain Moss. Even though this all instrumental rocker has been played close to one hundred times since 2017, it's only the seventh time as an encore edition.
