Suwannee Hulaween 2025 returns to Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park with an all-new Spirit Lake art experience, “The Radiant Veil – The Dance of Light and Shadow.”
Suwannee Hulaween has revealed the 2025 Spirit Lake art programming ahead of its 12th annual celebration, marking the third consecutive year the festival has announced its visual lineup in advance. Spirit Lake remains one of the most beloved immersive art experiences across U.S. festivals, blending sculpture, projection mapping, interactive builds, performance, and stage design into an unforgettable world.

Returning to the Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park in Live Oak, Florida, from Thursday, October 30 – Sunday, November 2, 2025, Hulaween will once again transform Spirit Lake into a mesmerizing playground of creativity. Alongside a stacked musical lineup featuring headlining sets from festival founders The String Cheese Incident (six sets), ILLENIUM, Glass Beams, Disco Lines, Goose (two sets), Parcels, Zeds Dead, and more, attendees can expect a weekend of both new and returning art experiences.
In May, Hulaween announced the 2025 theme for Spirit Lake’s coveted art program: The Radiant Veil – The Dance of Light and Shadow, an inspiring new concept set to transform the festival grounds like never before.
Guiding this vision is Spirit Lake’s Experience Director, Justin Bolognino, CEO of META, a company that creates multi-sensory experiences that fuse technology, design, and storytelling to ignite the human senses and spirit. Bolognino has designed dynamic artistic experiences in collaboration with artists such as Skrillex, Phish, Questlove, Porter Robinson, and St. Vincent, alongside brand partners like Google, Spotify, Samsung, and Vimeo. Gearing up for his third Hulaween edition as Experience Director, Bolognino has fortified the classic installations that fans have come to know and love while continuing to expand Spirit Lake’s imaginative universe.
Spirit Lake returns under The Radiant Veil — where light and shadow dance, myth breathes, and the line between dream and reality dissolves.
Paul Kuhn (Twelve Limbs Art Studio) will bring back highly recognized sculptural pieces, including The Witch, The Ferryman, and Ogres + Rock Hands. These towering works have become landmarks of Spirit Lake and remain central to the festival’s narrative design. Thomas Dambo returns with his iconic Spider and Pineapple Hands, while SLOPS adds The Spider’s Eggs to continue the evolving storyline. Duende Builds will also return with its eco-conscious Birdhouse Village, hand-crafted from local natural materials.
Hulaween is also excited to welcome back the OFF LIMITS stage, a 360-degree experience by Duende, RÜTS, and Justin Bolognino that debuted in 2024 and quickly became a Spirit Lake staple. With its stained-glass design of dragonfly wings and abstracted beetles, the stage merges dark Victorian fantasy with nature’s microcosm. This year’s underground programming, curated by Define Everything Future (DEF) and powered by Incendia fire effects and a L-Acoustics sound system, will feature Whethan, YDG, Jigitz, BLOND:ISH, Ahadadream, Alex Wann, and more.
Lost Creations’ gothic-inspired House of Lost, complete with its legendary sultry performances and the return of Midnight Mass, returns with a refreshed design and programming by founder Ian Tuma.
Cory Glenn’s Incendia will return larger and more immersive than ever — geodesic steel temples alive with fire performance and flame effects — while Jasper & Shelby Mosher’s Electric Dream Machine showcases their projection-mapping wizardry that transforms forest structures and sculptures into vibrant narratives of light and motion.
Spirit Lake will also premiere a new large-scale work for the permanent collection, Fiddlehead, by Justin Bolognino and RÜTS, built by Hoodie Salinas and the Majestix Design team — a massive Fibonacci fern sculpture lit with projection mapping that blends futuristic science fiction with lush natural fantasy. Fox Light Labs’ SYNTHesthesia Crystals, an interactive musical infinity-mirror crystal cluster, and PDA Woodwork’s TeeterMAZE, a playful, large-scale rocking pinball maze for four players at a time, will also debut.
Other newly curated art highlights include Matt Elson’s mirrored light pieces Radiance and Tanzer; Matt Bosch’s evocative ode to the great Goddess sculpture Blood Ov Babalon; and the new LumaVoid Theatre featuring performances by Rabbit Foot Puppetry and Dragon Box Theatre, a shadow-puppet venue where performers animate imaginative stories and characters that stretch beyond the screen. Rounding out the list are Wandering Lion Tea Sanctuary, a Gong Fu Cha tea house and sober space, and the notable Spirit Lake classic, Ania Amador’s Mural Maze. Spirit Lake’s overall deco design and storytelling elements will once again be led by RÜTS, who also envisioned the intimate Narrative Nook burrow.
Spirit Lake’s annual lakefront projection show also returns with four unique one-hour spectacles: From Light (Thursday), Into Shadow (Friday), The Radiant Veil (Saturday), and The Dance of Light and Shadow (Sunday). A very special and top-secret installation, The Oracle of Spirit Lake, will premiere, transforming the lake show into an interactive, participatory experience each night.
As one of the last truly independent, large-scale U.S. festivals, Suwannee Hulaween continues to evolve its art programming as a defining part of the experience. Spirit Lake stands at the heart of that identity, captivating fans year after year with its staggering mix of installations, performances, and interactive experiences.
Hulaween has also unveiled the official 2025 schedule, giving fans the chance to plan their weekend of music, art, and creativity experiences in advance.
