Billy Strings has announced a four-date, Michigan-wide mini tour with his father, guitarist Terry Barber. Barber was hugely instrumental in forming Billy’s passion for traditional bluegrass. Whether sitting and picking around a campfire, listening to vinyl records together, or teaching young Billy a lick or two, Barber sparked a massive passion, and what would eventually become a way of life, for Billy Strings.

Tickets go on sale Thursday, 1/23 and fans can expect these shows to sell out fast.

Sexy jam rockers Ghost Light lit up the stage at the iconic Brooklyn Bowl in Williamsburg, NY with their unique blend of acid and funk mixed with indie jam rock. The band is led by jam scene veteran and guitarist Tom Hamilton (Joe Russo’s Almost Dead, Brother’s Past, American Babies), as well as guitarist Raina Mullen (American Babies).

The Underground Thieves, a Philadelphia-based rock band led by artist/songwriter/producer Nick Perri, today unveiled an exciting video for their fan-favorite live song, “5.0.1.” The hypnotic performance, featuring Perri on lead guitar, was filmed during the band’s sold-out shows in December supporting The Struts at the Fillmore Philadelphia and showcases the group’s electrifying stage presence and deep musical abilities.

On the evenings of January 17 and 18, the high flying indie-groove band Goose joined musical supergroup Dead and Company at their third annual concert series, “Playing in the Sand.” The all-inclusive event was hosted by the Moon Palace Resort in Riviera Cancun Mexico.

Tom Hamilton keeps very busy between Ghost Light, Joe Russo’s Almost Dead, American Babies, Electron, and the rare but most coveted Billy & The Kids appearance.

Over the course of two years spent out on the road, tirelessly playing show after show, Nathan Kalish cultivated a collection of story songs grown from not only his own life experiences but also incorporating the experiences of the people he encountered along the way.
