Same Same But Different is California’s first camping, music and arts festival to announce its return for 2021. The festival is now scheduled for September 9 - 12, 2021 after having to cancel last year’s festival due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Taking place in scenic Lake Perris, CA, Same Same But Different is a multi-genre, four stage music and arts festival built to celebrate what makes us all different and unique.
Due to the ongoing uncertainty surrounding safe venue capacities and local regulations for the coming months, Tedeschi Trucks Band's 2021 Wheels of Soul tour is being postponed until the summer of 2022. The legendary Los Lobos, longtime TTB friends and collaborators, and veterans of 2016’s Wheels of Soul will replace St. Paul and the Broken Bones for the 2022 summer amphitheater run. Tulsa guitarist, composer, and producer, Chris Combs, is set to release “Roche Blave: Large Ensemble Works Recorded Live in Switzerland” through the nonprofit Horton Records label April 30. Combs, known for his improvisational blend of jazz, hip-hop, and experimental elements in his work with Jacob Fred Jazz Odyssey (JFJO) and his own band, COMBSY, was commissioned to write the music in 2012 by Jazzwerkstatt Bern, an international jazz festival based in Bern, Switzerland.
