Larkin Poe – the GRAMMY® Award-nominated duo of Georgia-bred, Nashville-based multi-instrumentalist sisters Rebecca and Megan Lovell – have shared “Blood Harmony,” available now at all DSPs and streaming services. The smoldering title track from their upcoming sixth studio album is joined by an official music video that premiered today via Guitar World. They got on the bus to the Port Authority, rode in on the Long Island Railroad and the New Jersey Transit line. They traveled North, South, and West on the 1, 2, and 3 subway lines, their numbers growing as they descended upon Penn Station. Some rolled up in those iconic New York yellows. Some walked excitedly through the bright lights of Broadway and Times Square, meeting up with old friends on the way and picking up a few new ones too as they ascended The Garden's stairs. Festival season is underway here in Chicago and fans of pop art and energizing dance music are in for a treat. The annual Heatwave Festival returns to Douglas Park July 16th and 17th and features a wide variety of performers and artists. It is truly a change of pace from other well-known festivals in Chicago such as Riot Fest and Lollapalooza. With that change of pace comes an eclectic selection of artists to look out for if you're considering dancing your heart out in Douglas Park next weekend.

Known for its eclectic blend of music, food, and art, the 35th Anniversary of the Lowell Folk Festival returns in person July 29-31. With a musical lineup of acts from around the world, the festival will once again renew its rich history in showcasing the many tastes of Lowell’s diverse communities. This year’s festival will feature 18 ethnic food stands operated by local non-profit community groups, each offering a different traditional cuisine that showcases their heritage.

Today, Bob Mould announces a July 30th make-up show in Seattle, WA and new run of shows in September. The new leg travels from the Rocky Mountain states to the Southwestern US and Texas; from Bozeman, Montana to Austin, Texas. The previously announced dates for the tour begin October 7 in Louisville, KY. Will Johnson will provide support for September shows and H.C. McEntire will return to the tour for October.
