1972 brought us triumph and tragedy. From Watergate to the last Apollo mission, the world was changing—and in Grand Rapids, a new music venue emerged: The Intersection. This wonderful venue is actually five separate spaces in one, from the diminutive Mint (capacity 200) to the Showroom, the largest indoor room, which holds 1,500.

Frank Hannon, co‑founder and lead guitarist of the multi‑platinum band TESLA, shares a new instrumental single, “Our Father’s Love,” out now alongside a contemplative music video filmed in the Sierra Mountains of Northern California. Drawn from his forthcoming solo album Reflections – a Western‑inspired, all‑guitar collection arriving September 12th – the track captures how Hannon used the instrument as his voice during a season of upheaval and healing.

Primus will cap off a landmark year with a two-night New Year’s Eve run at the Fox Theater in Oakland, CA, December 30th and 31st. The hometown celebration will feature two completely unique sets each night, marking the band’s first NYE shows with drummer John Hoffman, whose addition to the trio has sparked a momentous new chapter in the band’s legacy.

Following a hugely successful 13 date North American Get Ready tour this past spring 2025 – stretching from Montreal to Buffalo and St Louis to Miami – PETER HOOK & THE LIGHT have announced they will return to the continent for a further 21 dates.  Set for  August and September 2026, Peter Hook & The Light will perform the New Order album Get Ready in its entirety, alongside a selection of the most seminal tracks from the rich and extensive back catalogues of both Joy Division and New Order. 

“Running Wild," the third and final single to be released in advance of the forthcoming Neal Casal archival album, No One Above You (The Early Years 1991–1998), is out today (Listen/Share Here). One of four covers on the collection, “Running Wild" was written by the legendary Tom T. Hall, a major influence on Casal as a young songwriter.

The first one was when Berwyn, PA native, Greene, reached out to Summit to team up for a class assignment when they both were students at USC/Thornton School of Music—they were in the same class, but had never met. The next came a bit later when they became a couple.
