For over 10 years Consider The Source has been steadily touring their high-octane, gear-drenched "Sci-Fi Middle Eastern Fusion" shows throughout the United States as well as to Turkey, Israel, Germany and more. While known for their aggressive use of cutting edge technology and technical wizardry the band also has been developing a softer side.

Today, Arts Music released the track "Lapé, Lanmou (Peace and Love)" from the upcoming benefit album Let the Rhythm Lead: Haiti Song Summit Vol. 1, a collaborative project of songwriters Jonathan Wilson, Jenny Lewis, Jackson Browne, Paul Beaubrun, Habib Koité, Raúl Rodríguez and Jonathan Russell, along with members of the Haitian roots band Lakou Mizik. 

Grammy-nominated reggae/rock band Rebelution have announced their Good Vibes Summer Tour 2020 with friends Steel Pulse, The Green, Keznamdi and DJ Mackle beginning June 5th and running through September 4th, with more dates to be announced. The tour also includes a return to the iconic Red Rocks Amphitheatre for two nights on August 22nd and 23rd.

When Greg Klyma sings, “paid my dues,” you believe him. He’s been writing songs for 30 years and touring for over 20 years, living out of his car for twelve of those. Along the way, he has played some festival stages (Blissfest, Moccasin Creek, Kerrville), opened for some famous people (Todd Snider, Lucy Kaplansky, Ramblin’ Jack), and recorded or played with friends (Anais Mitchell, Peter Case, and Gurf Morlix).

Andy Logan is a Dead Head, a serious guitar collector, and a filmmaker—more on those subjects in a minute.  He’s always dreamed of owning a Jerry Garcia guitar, but since “Wolf” recently went for $1.9 M., the odds seemed slim. 

Still, he took part by telephone in Tuesday’s (12/10/19) Bonham’s auction, setting a figure of $400,000 as his limit to buy Jerry’s legendary “Alligator,” which he played from May 1971 to late 1973 (in other words, all of Europe ’72).
