The chaos of modern life is left behind as you turn off the bustling 95 freeway that runs along nearly the entire East Coast and onto the old highway 714. Heading West along the rural road, freeway civilization gives way to one of the last unspoiled wilderness areas in South Florida. The ride into the Okeechobee Music Festival is a spectacular one, with thick green vegetation on all sides. Florida oak trees with hanging Spanish moss blowing in the warm tropical wind and swaying palm trees line the roadway growing ever denser as the road narrows.

Today, festival organizers Pigeons Playing Ping Pong announced the final list of bands set to play their eighth annual music festival Domefest on May 18-20, 2017 at Fort Royale Farm in Bedford, PA.

Town Mountain is thrilled to join in on Yep Roc Records’ Sing Out!, a night of songs and solidarity in support of the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) of North Carolina at The Cat’s Cradle on Saturday, March 11th. Tift Merritt, Caleb Caudle, and Alexandra Sauser-Monnig from Mountain Man will also be performing! Doors are at 7pm with the show starting at 7:30. Tickets are $15 and 100% of ticket sales will be going to the ACLU of North Carolina.

Melvin Seals has been a powerful presence in the music industry for over 30 years with a long-established reputation as a performer, recording artist and producer. Melvin is most revered for his powerful, high-spirited, Hammond B-3 organ, and keyboards in the Jerry Garcia Band. Melvin spun his B-3 magic with the Jerry Garcia Band for 18 years and in doing so helped pioneer and define what has now become "Jam Band Music".

Fort plain natives and sibling blues-rockers Jocelyn & Chris Arndt don't get home to the Capital Region very often, which is why they are thrilled to announce that they will be co-headlining this year's MOVE Music Festival. The Cuckoos, consisting of Kenneth Frost (vocals, keyboards) Dave North (lead guitar, backing vocals) Eric Ross (bass guitar) and Cole Koenning (drums), first began making music in 2014. Listeners have praised the band's uncanny ability to bring back the sounds of psychedelic rock from the 1960s in their original songs—an especially impressive feat considering their ages.

Delfest is going all out for their 10th Annual Festival lineup with additions including Railroad Earth, Tim O’Brien, The Gibson Brothers, artists at large Sierra Hull, Bryan Sutton, and Billy Strings, and multiple workshops. Delfest takes place over Memorial Day weekend, May 25-28 alongside the Potomac River in scenic Cumberland, MD. Ticket prices go up on March 7th.
