A grand celebratory sendoff to the 50th anniversary of San Francisco’s psychedelic music scene of 1967 took place at one of its once and forever epicenters, The Fillmore, on December 9. Featuring about 30 prominent Bay Area performers of today and yesterday, the commemorative event righteously celebrated that important stretch of time through which poetry, rock ‘n’ roll, cross-cultural awareness, and an anti-establishment penchant to question authority challenged traditional America’s consciousness.
Just a few short weeks after the Chris Robinson Brotherhood's annual December three-night stand at The Fillmore in San Francisco, they'll set up shop once again in the Bay Area to ring in the New Year with three-nights, December 29, 30 and 31, at Terrapin Crossroads in San Rafael. Electric Forest hosts two distinct weekends for the eighth annual music and camping festival in Rothbury, Michigan on June 21–June 24 and June 28–July 1, 2018. Topping the bill on both weekends – The String Cheese Incident, BASSNECTAR, GRiZ Live Band, RÜFÜS DU SOL, and ZHU. Heavyweight DJ Duo Galantis will perform exclusively on the First Weekend. Marshmello will appear only on the Second Weekend.
