Widely acclaimed-and the incessantly touring-bluegrass outfit YONDER MOUNTAIN STRING BAND have announced an array of headlining and festival dates for the second half of 2018. The band is also excited to welcome back working mom Allie Kral to the road, as she enjoyed some time off with the birth of her first child in May.

Boston’s Independent Radio, WXRV/92.5 the River announced that long-time station favorites Barenaked Ladies will headline their 17th Annual Newburyport Riverfront Music Festival on Saturday, September 1st at Waterfront Park. Phillip Phillips, Anderson East and The Aldous Collins Band round out the bill for the free festival which runs from 12PM to 6:30PM.  The announcement was made as part of “The Big Reveal,” a special hour long show with morning host Dana Marshall.

Organ Virtuoso Cory Henry has announced his fall tour in support of his recent EP, Art Of Love, available now. A full list of tour dates with his band The Funk Apostles can be found below.

Jam band juggernauts Phish are in the midst of the West Coast leg of their extensive Summer 2018 tour. Fans have been wowed by the sheer diversity of setlists, unexpected arrangements, and intriguing chemistry. After the triumphant Bakers Dozen run at Madison Square Garden last summer, the quartet demonstrated their desire to explore far-off realms and keep their repertoire both expansive and tight.

Moon Hooch's new EP 'Light It Up,’ released earlier this year, features three tracks ("Acid Mountain," "Light It Up" and "Growing Up") that quickly became staples of the Brooklyn-based trio’s live shows. The band has now announced plans to release all three songs each on a different color limited edition 7-inch vinyl. Due August 24 via Hornblow Recordings, the A-side will present the studio version, while the B-side will be a corresponding live recording of the song.

The Japandroids, the two-man band from Vancouver, Canada consisting of Brian King on guitar and vocals and David Prowse on drums and vocals, wowed an appreciative crowd on Sunday night at the Pitchfork Music Festival.  I hope you were there to see their amazing performance.  If you closed your eyes, you thought you were hearing a six-piece band.  The intensity and pure noise of the Japandroids are overwhelming.

Texas-native Black Joe Lewis & The Honeybears return with a new trio of gritty, punked-up blues and rock influenced tracks in anticipation of an extensive North American tour.
