For any deadheads who may be making the trek to Boulder for Dead & Company over the fourth of July weekend might want to get to town just a couple days early..  The Fox Theatre in Boulder will play host to some groovy dead interpretations.  Grateful Web recently spoke to Shred is Dead guitarist, Marcus Rezak to tell us a bit of the band's history and how he became a deadhead.

When an outdoor music festival is held the organizers are at the mercy of mother nature. Unfortunately, the three-day hard rock and metal-oriented Epicenter held at Rockingham NC drag way had to work around a bit of extreme weather. Day 1, however, went off without a hitch.

HEART--ANN and NANCY WILSON--will extend their massive "Love Alive" cross-country summer tour into the fall with dates now taking the group through October. Pianist, singer and songwriter Bruce Hornsby’s summer tour kicks off tomorrow, June 18 in Charleston, SC. The run of dates includes additional stops in Denver, Charlotte, Asheville, Charlottesville and Atlanta that will feature a collaborative performance with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra conducted by yMusic’s Rob Moose. Hornsby will also perform at the ACL Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony on October 24 with Jackson Browne, Shemekia Copeland, Jimmie Vaughan and more. Announced today, JEFF BECK will add five solo shows to his 2019 U.S. touring schedule. In addition to the previously announced appearances at the Crossroads Festival and a show at the Hollywood Bowl, where he will join his former band mate, Rod Stewart, BECK will now include Kansas City, Tulsa, Austin, San Antonio and Phoenix to his 2019 U.S. live dates.  Tickets will go on-sale this Friday, June 21, with the exception of Phoenix which will be on sale on June 24.

HeadCount, the organization that partners with musicians to register voters, smashed it’s all-time record for the most voters registered at any festival in its 15-year history, passing the previous record (set at Bonnaroo in 2016) of 1,211. The record fell late Saturday evening, with another day left to register even more voters.

Over the course of many years of working in this profession, we in this field are lucky enough to be given the opportunity to meet countless musicians who have influenced us in so many ways. As fans, we create Paul Bunion like images in our minds of these people based off small snippets of themselves that they send out into the world, and can’t help but feel a bond with the version of themselves that they want to highlight, and sometimes even fabricate.

A warm, dry wind blew through the beautiful Vina Robles Amphitheatre in Paso Robles, California as a crowd gathered early to hear the classic rock band Foreigner, on Sunday, June 9th. The show sold out within minutes after being announced several months ago. The gorgeous new amphitheater, in a spectacular rural mountain setting, joined with Nederlander Concerts several years ago to bring big-name musical acts to the region.
