Cover Rock Festival adds Philip Bauer, The Legend of Johnny Cash to their first annual music lineup on June 25-26 at The Avon Performance Pavilion at Lake Nottingham.

For nearly 17 years, Yonder Mountain String Band has redefined bluegrass music, expanding the traditional acoustic genre beyond its previously established boundaries by steadily pushing the envelope into the realms of rock n' roll and improvisation. Following a successful and acclaimed debut in Durham, Moogfest announced it will return to Durham in 2017, May 18-22.

Jon Stickley Trio is excited to embark on tour for a plethora of shows this festival season! They have stops throughout the country including the White Squirrel Festival in North Carolina and Rooster Walk in Martinsville, Virginia this May. They kick off June in Nashville on their way St. Louis and then Colorado’s Front Range. Mid-June brings them back to the Southeast and they finish up the month at ROMP in Owensboro, Kentucky.

North Carolina-based Americana band Yarn knows all about finding opportunity in cloudy situations. Their new album, This is the Year, is a celebration of the light that shines through when life gets tough and the future seems uncertain. The album is out Friday, May 27, 2016, on Ardsley Music/Red Bush Records.

Widespread Panic will be performing at the Arkansas Music Pavilion in Rogers on June 17th. Showtime is 7:30 p.m. and doors open at 6 p.m. Widespread Panic’s 2016 Summer Tour will stretch from the Midwest to the West Coast during the months of June and July. Highlights include a return to Mud Island in Memphis, TN, three nights at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, CO, the band’s first ever shows in Bend, OR, three nights in Vegas, two in Oakland, CA and will conclude with a return to the Wiltern in Los Angeles, CA.  

Deft and dynamic, King Baby’s sound balances earthy R&B, simmering soul, percolating funk, and a jazz-spiked improvisational bent – with compelling original vocal and instrumental compositions as the fulcrum.

NEW ORLEANS SUSPECTS will return to Denver with two shows at Cervantes. The band will perform in The Masterpiece Ballroom on Friday, June 24th with special guests Duane Trucks (Widespread Panic), Eric McFadden (Anders Osborne) and DJ Logic.  Tickets are $20.00 in advance and $25.00 day of show.

Bob Weir, Mickey Hart and Bill Kreutzmann, with John Mayer and featuring Oteil Burbridge and Jeff Chimenti, better known collectively as Dead & Company, opened their highly anticipated Summer 2016 tour by announcing a free show at The Fillmore in San Francisco on Monday, May 23.
