In 2022, McLean celebrated the 50th anniversary of one of the most iconic songs in history “American Pie,” and now in 2023, off that same album 50 years ago came “Vincent” (Starry, Starry Night).  McLean is set to entertain fans from coast-to-coast proving that “bye-bye, Miss American Pie” will forever remain a classic staple in music.

The Billy and the Kids “Dead on the Water: Pier to Pier” concert series wrapped up on Friday night with their appearance at the rooftop venue Pier 17 in New York City.  Overlooking the Brooklyn Bridge, Pier 17’s location has a rich history dating back to the Dutch West India Company in 1625, the venue and surrounding area underwent major reconstruction in the 2010s and reopened to the public in 2018.

Today, the Southern Indiana-born, Nashville-based artist Stephen Wilson Jr. released new single “patches” from his upcoming debut double album søn of dad, out September 15 via Big Loud Records. With its deceptively breezy melody and easygoing chorus underscored by melancholic slide guitars, the song touches upon the importance of learning to live with the scars, scratches and holes in our lives.

On October 6th, American abstract artist and Hawk bandleader David Hawkins will release the stunning third album of his orchestral art-rock supergroup Be, Here, a lush and intricate song cycle inspired by The Beach Boys’ classic Pet Sounds and dedicated to Brian Wilson, though one can also hear traces of mystical Beatles psychedelia and The Velvet Underground’s tangled hum among its influences.

Exciting news for fans of Blü Egyptian (NorCal)! The dynamic band is set to hit the road for an electrifying West Coast Fall tour. Starting this September, the tour will culminate with a performance at the Cascade Equinox Festival in Redmond, OR on September 22nd. The adventure doesn't end there – October promises a journey through the Pacific Northwest with stops from Seattle to SoCal, culminating in San Diego.

The Spire Center for Performing Arts in Plymouth, MA. will host Anthony Geraci & The Boston Blues All-Stars on Friday, November 10th. Anthony is a 2021 and 2023 Blues Music Award winner for Instrumentalist-Piano (Pinetop Perkins piano player award) from the Blues Foundation in Memphis. Today, Boy Named Banjo has announced their major label debut album Dusk, due out September 29 via Mercury Records Nashville. On Dusk, the Nashville-native group explores the full emotional spectrum of the rich, eclectic sound they’ve honed over the last decade. Along with the announcement, the band also shares their wistful new single “Lonely In This Town,” which arrives with a music video that finds them on a reflective late-night car ride.
