The best was saved for last in terms of Eggy’s Here and How 2025 Spring Tour. Their final non-festival date at Manhattan’s Webster Hall on April 26, 2025, was a barn burner, much to the delight of the packed crowd. Their performance included a number of new and repeat covers, as well as a guest appearance by Hamilton Leithauser from the American indie-rock band The Walkmen.

Where are today’s groovy horn bands? Growing up listening to Blood, Sweat & Tears, Chicago, and Tower of Power, I’ve noticed a gap in today’s music for a funky, hard-hitting horn section. Well, tonight the horns are back with a vengeance at Bells as they host two up-and-coming bands: Flexadecibel and Desmond Jones.

The Constitution State quartet Eggy performed at the Brooklyn Bowl in Philadelphia, PA, on Friday, April 25, 2025, as part of their Here and How 2025 Tour. This was their first show at the jam-band–friendly venue in the City of Brotherly Love, which is located in the fun Fishtown neighborhood. They hadn’t played for a couple of weeks but showed no signs of rust as they brought the heat to a diverse crowd.
