A&M/UMe celebrates the 30th-anniversary of Sting’s fourth solo album, Ten Summoner’s Tales, with a digital-only Expanded Edition released today. Originally released on March 1, 1993, the album title is a somewhat tongue-in-cheek mashup of the artist’s given surname, Sumner, and a character in Geoffrey Chaucer’s 15th-century literary classic The Canterbury Tales, the summoner.

As moe. prepares for a 2-night run at Albany’s Palace Theatre beginning tonight (2/24), coinciding with the fifth annual “moe.day,” the city has announced that it is temporarily renaming N. Pearl, the street on which the Palace Theatre stands, to moe.street, effective immediately. The decision honors the deep ties between moe. and the City of Albany, which began with the band’s early days living together on Central Avenue in the ‘90s.
