Portland, Maine anti-genre act SeepeopleS are gearing up for the release of their sixth LP, Field Guide For Survival In This Dying World, out October 7th via frontman Will Bradford's own RascalZRecordZ. Since announcing the record, SeepeopleS have been steadily releasing singles, and today the group releases their latest, the shimmering indie-rock track, "Path of Least Resistance," on which Bradford explores the toll that navigating the pressure of modern life takes on us and while simply trying to find a way to live.

On September 30th, Putumayo will release Feels Like Home: Songs from the Sonoran Borderlands—Linda Ronstadt’s Musical Odyssey, a musical accompaniment to the acclaimed singer’s new book, Feels Like Home: A Song for the Sonoran Borderlands, published by Heyday Books. The musical collection was co-curated by Ronstadt and Putumayo founder Dan Storper and includes influential songs from her childhood and career, as well as several of her own interpretations of classic Mexican songs.

Wednesday night, the power trio of funk, fire, and infamy Garage A Trois made the Aggie Theatre their first stop in Colorado and played to a crowd that were more than happy to step out for a night on the town midweek.
The new California Americana rock duo, The Taproots, have released a music video for their new single "California Life" which is to be included on their upcoming debut album, Tales Of Wonderland. The Taproots feature singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Tom Walters and award-winning vocalist Nicole Cassingham, best known for their weaving of rock, folk, and jazz influences and strong harmonies with compelling storytelling. "California Life" will be available on all streaming services on Friday, March 4.

Peter Hook & The Light took the stage at the Theatre at Ace Hotel in Downtown Los Angeles Thursday night. Billed as a celebration of the music of Joy Division, the evening was presented in multiple parts: an opening set of New Order classics, followed by full performances of Joy Division’s classic albums Unknown Pleasures and Closer (opening the evening was a powerful electric set by duo El Ten Eleven).
Brandi Carlile was born on June 1st, 1981 in Ravensdale, Washington, a rural town southeast of Seattle. She is self-taught on guitar, piano, and vocals and began singing country songs on stage when she was eight years old. Carlile began writing songs and playing guitar at age fifteen.
When I saw the location for Rumble Down, I smiled. I wanted more of my family (kids and grandkids) to experience a small jam-grass festival. Four of the grandkids are multi-year Shoe Fest veterans but more of them need the experience and my tribe is all in the Springfield vicinity. The festival site, The Kampground, is within bicycling distance for one of my sons. This would be a bunch of first-time adventures for the family.
