Dead & Company

Hark! October 16th doesn't just mark the steady march of autumn leaves. Today, it echoes the beats and chords of Bob Weir, the ageless bard who's been the tie-dye heartthrob of countless. Happy 76th Birthday, Bobby!

As the Earth completes another revolution around the sun for Bobby, we find ourselves in sheer awe. 76 years? Could’ve fooled us! Perhaps he’s sipping from a secret fountain of youth between sets or sprinkling his guitar with a dash of age-defying fairy dust. Whatever the secret, we’re all ears, Bob!

Dead & Company just wrapped up the 2023 FINAL TOUR with three sold-out concerts at Oracle Park in San Francisco in front of 120,000 fans. This was the most successful tour in the band’s eight-year history, drawing over 840,000 fans and grossing nearly $115 million.  The band performed 112 unique songs during the Final Tour.

Since the band’s 2015 debut, Dead & Company has completed ten tours, performing to more than 4 million fans across 235 shows.

Following the final concert of Dead & Company at Oracle Park in San Francisco, Congressman Wiley Nickel of North Carolina took to the House floor on Monday to deliver a heartfelt tribute to the Grateful Dead, a band that has left an indelible imprint on American music and culture.

The Congressman, accompanied by a prominent 'Steal Your Face' sign, commended the band for its enduring legacy and its unique role in unifying people through the universal language of music.

Dead & Company continued the Grateful Dead’s storied legacy at Cornell University and its famed Barton Hall when the band performed an intimate benefit concert for nearly 5,000 fans on May 8, 2023, the same date and venue as the Grateful Dead’s highly acclaimed performance at Cornell in 1977.

Under a sky lit by a "Buck" Supermoon and the shimmer of dancing drones, Dead and Company wrapped up their final tour performance at Folsom Field in Boulder. A beloved stop on their summer tours since 2016, Boulder, a Deadhead haven for almost six decades, witnessed an unforgettable show.

A day and a night, full of unforgettable moments and classic tunes, came to life at the hallowed ground of Folsom Field. On July 1st, 2023, Dead and Company unfurled their cosmic tapestry for the first of three nights in a location steeped in a deep and abiding love for the Grateful Dead. This trio of shows not only marks the band's last performances at the venue but is also the final whistle-stop on their grand farewell tour.
