This year marks the 10th anniversary of Closer to the Sun, the perfect blend of all-inclusive luxury and electrifying festival vibes, set against the backdrop of Mexico's stunning Riviera Maya. From December 1st to 5th, music lovers can enjoy an unparalleled concert vacation featuring their favorite bands and artists performing from mid-afternoon until the stars fade at dawn.

The Experience

Saturday saw the biggest turnout for the Cali Vibes festival in Long Beach as thousands of fans migrated from downtown parking structures to Marina Green Park along Shoreline Drive. The stormy winter weather continued to stay just to the north, with pleasant conditions prevailing at the festival.

Presented by SweetWater Brewing and Pullman Yards, one of Atlanta's anticipated festivals, SweetWater 420 Fest has announced its lineup for its return April 20 and 21 at Pullman Yards. Known for its eclectic lineup, as well as its charitable and environmental activations, food trucks, artist market, and, of course, beer from the largest craft brewer in the Southeast- this year's lineup showcases artists of varying genres, from alternative to rock and pop to singer-songwriter, jam, soul, and an indie.

Today, San Diego, CA-based Slightly Stoopid is excited to announce – after fourteen sell-outs at the historic venue – their return to Morrison, CO this summer, for two special nights at the Red Rocks Amphitheatre, on Saturday, August 12th and Sunday, August 13th, 2023.

Day three of Cali Roots drew possibly the biggest crowd in the festival’s history. The masses served as a reminder to all of the community that had been missed so dearly over the last several years. In so many ways, it felt almost like a family reunion with friends in the reggae community we haven’t seen in far too long. With half the festival having passed, the best was still yet to come as Day three held some of the best surprises of the weekend.

Slightly Stoopid and Cloud 9 Adventures announce details for the return of Closer to the Sun, their fan-favorite winter concert vacation. The annual event takes over Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya, an all-inclusive resort on the coast of Mexico, for four days and nights from December 8-12, 2022.

Slightly Stoopid have announced a free rebroadcast live stream of their two sold-out 2021 'Double On The Rocks' performances at Red Rocks via our friends at Fans/Relix. The shows feature appearances by special guests Chali 2na, Don Carlos, Marlon Asher, Kaleo from Pepper, and Kailash and will stream on April 20 & 21.

Today, San Diego, CA-based Slightly Stoopid announce the first round of dates for their Summer Traditions 2022  tour — a nod to the summer outdoor amphitheater circuit the band has performed annually since 2007 but hasn’t taken place for the last two years due to the pandemic.
