For more than a decade, DeVotchKa has been melting its sweeping collection of influences into an authentic and totally original blend of rock 'n' roll.

Modest Mouse will visit the Lone Star state playing shows at Stubbs Waller Creek Amphitheater in Austin, TX on November 9th and the Palladium Ballroom in Dallas, TX on November 10th. On November 13th, the band will appear at the SWU Music and Arts Festival in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

Breathe Owl Breathe have always been storytellers. It only makes sense that they would spin a pair of tales that people of all ages could cherish together; stories and songs so simple and poignant in their message that adults and children alike will find moments and melodies that resonate for them.
 

There are infinite songs about relationships, and certainly music can take love to a new, magical level when presented with the right song and the right people. But rarely do we come across an interplay of music and love as symbiotic–as desperately codependent–as it does in the work of debut indie outfit The Echo-Friendly. The band, half of which resides in Memphis and half in NYC, debuted their first single, "Same Mistakes" last June on Cantora Records. They're back with a charming new single, titled "Boats".

Ben Sollee uses his voice and cello to tell stories with an awareness-raising bent while bridging connections to his community and fans. On October 27th, Sollee will embark on his fourth “Ditch The Van” bicycle tour to make those connections broader. The tour will wind down the Gulf Coast starting at Preservation Hall in New Orleans, LA and ending at the Orlando Calling Music Festival in Florida on November 13th.

Australia’s Art vs. Science has made waves here in North America after the release of their Magic Fountain EP in March, along with two subsequent US tours.

Fresh on the heels of their performance at the Austin City Limits Festival this past weekend, My Morning Jacket are showing no signs of slowing down since the release of their latest album, Circuital.  The band are announcing a run of shows with Sharon Jones & The Dap Kings, Delta Spirit and Band of Horses supporting select dates.  Sharon Jones will join MMJ at The Bill Graham Civic Center in San Francisco and The Gibson in Los Angeles.
