Genre-bending bluegrass titans Greensky Bluegrass today share their brand-new single, “Can’t Stop Now,” a high-octane collaboration with progressive-bluegrass pioneer Sam Bush. The track is now streaming across all major platforms, with an official performance video premiering on YouTube. Watch here.

Recorded earlier this spring during a rare break between tour legs, “Can’t Stop Now” captures the quintet’s trademark blend of virtuosity, improvisation, and rock-leaning edge while weaving in Bush’s unmistakable mandolin fire. The result is a jubilant, forward-leaning anthem that underscores both artists’ reputations for pushing traditional string music into bold new territory.

The release arrives amid an action-packed 2025 for Greensky Bluegrass. Fresh off headline dates and festival appearances from coast to coast, the band will take the main stage at Telluride Bluegrass Festival this weekend before returning to Colorado for their landmark 20th performance at Red Rocks Amphitheatre later this summer. Additional North American dates extend through the fall, spotlighting the quintet’s enduring prowess as a must-see live act.

Since forming in Kalamazoo, Michigan, in 2000, Greensky Bluegrass—Paul Hoffman (mandolin), Dave Bruzza (guitar), Anders Beck (dobro), Michael Arlen Bont (banjo), and Mike Devol (bass)—have carved a singular path through the acoustic world, seamlessly fusing bluegrass instrumentation with the expansive spirit of rock and improvisational jam. Their boundary-stretching catalog includes nine studio albums and countless sold-out shows in iconic venues.

Sam Bush, long hailed as the “King of Telluride” and a founding father of newgrass, brings a storied career spanning five decades, from his groundbreaking work with New Grass Revival to his influential solo output. His appearance on “Can’t Stop Now” adds another chapter to a legacy defined by perpetual evolution and collaboration.
