Denver-based quartet Velvet Daydream is on a mission to resurrect the golden age of the “classic rock show,” and their electrifying live performance will thunder into the Fox Theatre on Saturday, August 23, 2025. Joined by fellow Colorado acts Stil Runnin and Wampus Cat, the night promises a raucous journey through soaring guitar harmonies, powerhouse vocals, and the kind of on-stage swagger that’s been in short supply for decades.
Formed by high-octane frontmen Kaeden Keys (guitar, vocals) and Ryder King (guitar, vocals), with groove-engine duo Jude Pfanstiel (bass, vocals) and Nick Schwartz (drums, vocals), Velvet Daydream channels the raw spirit of the ’70s arena era. That commitment to authenticity runs deeper than wardrobe or stagecraft: the band’s 2023 self-titled debut, The Velvet Daydream, was cut to ½-inch tape using “holy grail” gear once heard on landmark sessions for Foreigner, Julian Lennon, and Dream Theater. The result is a warm, analog punch that crackles with the same energy the quartet unleashes onstage. Their follow-up singles, “Sunflower Sky” and “Revolver,” cemented Velvet Daydream as torch-bearers for vintage rock and roll—riff-driven, melodic, and unapologetically loud.
