Jeff Tweedy’s Together At Last is out today on dBpm Records. Recorded at Tweedy’s Chicago studio The Loft, the new album features intimate renditions of 11 songs previously released by Wilco and by Tweedy’s occasional side projects Loose Fur and Golden Smog.

Country Music lcon Kenny Rogers set the tone during The Nation We Build Together gala opening at the Smithsonian's National Museum of American History last night. Performing in front of the gallery that houses The Star-Spangled Banner, the actual flag that inspired what is now the national anthem, Rogers sang his song “’Merica” illustrated with his photo images of the landscapes and people of “the land that I love…America.”

Bonnaroo 2017 headline acts U2 (Friday), Red Hot Chili Peppers (Saturday), Weeknd (Sunday) were highly charged sets. But the earlier acts The XX, Chance the Rapper, and Lorde all of whom were not overlooked and primed the audience with exceptional performances.

Music on the Mesa Festival launched its third year on a hot day in El Prado NM, just north of Taos, at the Taos Mesa Brewery. Under clouds that gifted rain later in the day at a very opportune time, music lovers came early, swelling crowds to capacity every single night of the fest.

On this opening Friday, June 2, festivalgoers were treated to NM singer/songwriter Ry Taylor on the large earthen amphitheater and the California-based Sweetwater String Band on the patio stage.
