The opening weekend of "Jerry Garcia: A Bluegrass Journey" Exhibition at the Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame & Museum launches with an immersive experience of exhibition tours, live music, historic panel discussions, and more to celebrate the bluegrass career of music icon Jerry Garcia. The exhibition explores Garcia's early years as a banjo player, his deep connection to bluegrass, the influence it had on his legendary career, and will run for two years.

Renowned banjo player and California native Alison Brown will headline an eclectic lineup of established and up-and-coming bluegrass stars at the California Bluegrass Association’s 49th annual Father’s Day Bluegrass Festival, slated for June 13-16 at the Nevada County Fairgrounds in Grass Valley, Calif. Trombone Shorty took over Havana last weekend, leading a group of all-star American artists and teen musicians from the Trombone Shorty Foundation to the schools, clubs and streets of Cuba to celebrate the New Orleans – Cuba connection and unite around music. The five-day cultural exchange trip took place from January 11-15, 2024, marking the third edition of the “Getting Funky in Havana” festival.

Today, the Portland-based songwriter Eddie Berman has released 'Signal Fire,' his latest studio album, available now on all major streaming platforms via Nettwerk. 'Signal Fire' represents a shift from the solitary creation of Berman's previous works to a dynamic, in-person recording process. Recorded at 64 Sound Recording Studio in Los Angeles during an uncharacteristic rainstorm, the album was completed in just three days.
