Marcus King today released Young Blood, his career defining new album, produced by Dan Auerbach and released on Rick Rubin’s American Records / Republic.
 

Marcus King today announced the release of “Blues Worse Than I Ever Had,” the final preview track ahead of his forthcoming solo album, Young Blood, due August 26. The track, co-written with Dan Auerbach, has a laid back groove and saturating slide guitar which soundtrack King’s visceral vocal, reflecting on a moment of despair and the hope that lies beyond it. King stated, “At the time, I’d changed medications when I was trying to process the death of family members.

Marcus King today announced the release of “Blood On The Tracks,” the latest preview, and lead single from his forthcoming solo album, Young Blood. The track was co-written with Dan Auerbach and songwriting legend Desmond Child, renowned for his work with rock acts including Alice Cooper, Joan Jett and Aerosmith. It premiered today with Garden & Gun, who stated “‘Blood On The Tracks’, finds King steeling himself for the ascent from the depths to the sunlight above.”

Marcus King today announced the release of “Lie Lie Lie,” the latest preview track from his forthcoming solo album, Young Blood. The track premiered today with FLOOD Magazine. Shuffling rock drums, wild soloing and fuzzed out psychedelic guitar riffing combine into a towering sonic inferno. At the core of the blaze are King’s vocals, which share a revelation.  “‘Lie Lie Lie’ for me captures the spirit of this record.” King shared. “You can feel how natural the vibe was in the studio.

Back by popular demand, Ohana Festival Encore Weekend will take place Saturday, October 8th, and Sunday, October 9th at Doheny Beach State Park, in Dana Point, California.

Grammy-winning rock band Greta Van Fleet have announced that British rock band The Amazons and US sensation Marcus King will be joining them as Special Guests next month on the UK & European headline dates of their Dreams In Gold world tour.
 
The Amazons will be supporting Greta Van Fleet on their shows in Berlin, Vienne, Cologne and Frankfurt. The concert in Berlin is newly announced today, and tickets will go on sale this coming Friday.
