DSO is excited to be joined by many great friends for their second installment of the Cosmic New Years. This year at Rams Head Live! DSO will be joined by some great friends and family to ring in 2010. Jeff Mattson of the Donna Jean Godchaux Band will join DSO on Guitar, Donna Jean Godchaux will lend her legendary voice to the night's festivities and Baltimore's own, The Bridge, will kick off the evening.

Bob Dylan still rocking a place like the Greek Theater in 2009? Anyone who would stated that to be possible in the late sixties would have others thinking it to be very unlikely. By the late sixties Dylan had crashed his motorcycle badly and had turned into a recluse poet, shying away from the claims that he was one of the big “prophets” or “fathers” of the hippie generation. Dylan rejected the notion preferring to be labeled a human being like the rest of us. He changed his harmonica folk blues to a more country tinged rock n’ roll.
With the one-time constant touring machine otherwise known as The String Cheese Incident slowing their schedule considerably in recent years, fans get a chance to relive the group's legendary "Hulaween" shows on the forthcoming live release, Trick or Treat. The two-disc release - set to hit today on CD, vinyl, and digitally - is culled from several of these epic shows by The String Cheese Incident.
On November 3rd 2009 Gentle Giant will be digitally releasing seven of their best-known albums and tracks in digital form for the very first time via their own Alucard label through EMI Music's Label Services unit.

Lafayette, IN band Root Hog’s debut self titled album, Root Hog hit the streets on September 15th, 2009 following a packed house performance at West Lafayette’s Riverside Music Center. The debut album is available at all Root Hog shows, local record stores, and select online outlets. The album contains 10 new original tracks, and showcases the band’s roots and blues style dubbed “Cosmic Americana”.
