Thursday, Friday, Saturday, January 25,26,27, the three soldout Tedeschi Trucks Band Chicago concerts marks a triumphant return to the windy city very the same week that Chicago's WXRT radio announced TTB in the top ten list of best 2017 concerts. TTB was ranked at number 5 by the listener's poll for their three sold out concerts the previous year, to the week. There is no reason to dismiss that TTB's 2018 run will not make the top ten list again. Chicago fans love TTB's big sound and well crafted jams.

Whether traveling to gigs on horseback or by tour bus, Americana mavens The Brothers Comatose forge their own path with raucous West Coast renderings of traditional bluegrass, country and rock ‘n’ roll music. The five-piece string band is anything but a traditional acoustic outfit with their fierce musicianship and rowdy live shows reminiscent of stadium rock concerts.

Bozeman, MT-based bluegrass quartet Kitchen Dwellers are riding the wave of their sophomore release, Ghost in the Bottle, an album produced by Leftover Salmon’s Andy Thorn. The album also features Twiddle’s Mihali Savoulidis, who joined the band in the studio to record the album’s first single “Vision of More.” The band continues to relentlessly tour the country, captivating audiences with their own unique style, dubbed “Galaxy Grass.”

Seminal groove band The Greyboy Allstars are comprised by some of the most revered players on the modern music scene—saxophonist Karl Denson, guitarist Elgin Park, keyboardist Robert Walter, bassist Chris Stillwell and drummer Aaron Redfield. Fast approaching their 25th year together, 2018 will be the busiest year in quite some time for the quintet.

The NAMM show held each year in Anaheim, California always brings a multitude of rock veterans to the area who end up playing at various venues across the county. The first night of this year's show was no exception with concerts cropping up all across the region. But the sold-out show at The Observatory in Santa Ana featured the most impressive lineup of veteran rockers, coming together for the annual Dimebash.
