Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros

It’s everybody’s birthday at an Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros show, where several dozens of fans are welcome on stage to dance and take over the vocals, more or less, as they are struck with the desire to do so. Among the young hippies, hipsters, gypsies and all other people gathered at the Boulder Theater for the sold out show, the very few not shaking their limbs about were the odd men out.

I am nobody special, I come from a nobody special family in a nobody special kind of town.  However, when I spent Independence Day 2011 at Electric Forest Festival, I felt special.  Suddenly I was from the String Cheese Incident’s family and I lived in the Sherwood Forest!

In anticipation of the first-annual Escape to New York this August 5-7 at the Shinnecock Reservation in The Hamptons, the festival is proud to announce its DJ/Dance lineup.

With the third annual festival on the horizon, B.O.M.B. Fest is proud to announce it’s the full line up and two-day schedule HERE for the Memorial Day Weekend event (Saturday May 28th and Sunday May 29th) at the Comcast Theatre in Hartford, CT.

Citing strong early ticket sales for the 3rd Annual Bring Our Music Back Festival (B.O.M.B. Fest) B.O.M.B. Fest has outgrown it’s original site and is proud to announce its move to The Comcast Theatre in Hartford, CT.

“Hear ye, hear ye! From deadhead hippies to electro pop hipsters,” screeched the harlequin gliding on rainbow roller skates, “come one, come all.” And did they ever! Over 50,000 audiophiles packed into San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park for Outside Lands Festival to sample a delectable smorgasbord of rock immortals, indie stalwarts, and rookie sensations. Directions? No need, just follow that sweet, pungent aroma!
