Today, famed Colorado eclectic rock band The String Cheese Incident has announced their 2021 three-show Thanksgiving run at The Mission Ballroom in Denver, Colorado. These shows will mark the band's return to Denver's new venue for the first time in two years after the band sold out their inaugural performances at The Mission Ballroom in 2019.
Grammy Award-winning singer, songwriter and musician Billy Strings has added a fourth show at Denver’s Mission Ballroom on October 17 due to overwhelming demand after his first three nights at the venue (October 14-16) quickly sold-out. Tickets for the October 17 show go on-sale this Friday, June 25 at 10:00am local time, details can be found at www.billystrings.com/tour.
This evening, April 23rd, Portland, OR’s own Fruition premieres a pro-shot full length concert film that captures the biggest headline show of their career. Tonight caps a five week run of weekly hangs with their fans on their Facebook page called “The Thursday Thing with Fruition”. Each of the bands’ three singers Mimi Naja, Kellen Asebroek, and Jay Cobb Anderson have hosted a Thursday night, playing Fruition originals, covers, and solo tunes from their homes.
Hot on the heels of their recent release, Wild As The Night, Portland-based roots-rock darlings Fruition have just released another brand new collection of songs, Broken at the Break of Day. The new seven-song album was recorded in between tour dates in Fruition drummer Tyler Thompson’s newly constructed home studio, and like Fruition’s past releases, this collection of songs won’t fit into one box.
