Christone "Kingfish" Ingram

My first visit to the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival (a.k.a. "Jazzfest") was sort of a happy accident. In 1988, I was a young 20-something Grateful Dead tourhead, and I heard rumors that Little Feat was going to play their first show since the death of Lowell George a decade earlier. The allure was heightened by the fact that the reformed band would play on a riverboat floating on the Mississippi in New Orleans.

The Blues Foundation announced the winners of the 45th Annual Blues Music Awards on May 9 in Memphis.

Guitarist Christone "Kingfish" Ingram emerged as the night's biggest winner, securing four awards, including "Album of the Year" for Live In London. Mike Zito, Bobby Rush, Ruthie Foster, and John Primer also received multiple awards. Congratulations to all of this year's winners!

Grammy-winning guitarist, vocalist, and songwriter Christone “Kingfish” Ingram is set to bring his unparalleled blues performance to the Boulder Theater on Thursday, April 18, 2024. Doors open at 7:00 pm with the show starting at 8:00 pm. This event promises to be a landmark occasion, celebrating the extraordinary talent of a musician who has rapidly ascended to become the defining blues voice of his generation.

GRAMMY Award-winning guitarist, vocalist and songwriter Christone "Kingfish" Ingram announced plans for the initial leg of his 2024 "Mor Fish" Tour. Kicking off on February 16, the announced headlining and festival dates run through April 6, with more dates to be added.

On Friday, November 10, 2023, The Recording Academy announced the nominees for the 2024 GRAMMY Awards. Guitarist, vocalist and songwriter Christone "Kingfish" Ingram's new album, Live In London, is nominated for a GRAMMY Award in the Contemporary Blues category. All three of Kingfish's albums – 2019's Kingfish, 2021's GRAMMY-winning 662, and now Live In London – have received GRAMMY nominations.
