EOTO will continue slaughter the festival circuit this summer with their own unique brand of live electronica. With number of festival dates booked throughout the summer, the doubled-headed jaggernaut will feature just three theater performances in Wisconsin, Detroit and St. Louis.

Today, The Motet announces their Fall 2015 tour dates.  The progressive funk collective will unveil their brand new “Mixtape 1977” set over Halloween weekend in four Midwest cities. This marks the first Halloween on the road for The Motet. Meanwhile, fans along the Colorado Front Range can look forward to the launch of a new tradition, The Motet’s “Hometown Hustle,” at the Ogden Theatre on November 13 and 14.

Bluegrass music is deeply integrated into American musical culture and roots. Yet bluegrass isn’t a pure form. It’s an amalgamation of many preceding styles and individual root systems. None have revealed more about the instrumental beginnings of bluegrass than David “Dawg” Grisman. His mandolin virtuosity was simply too adventurous to not stray from the vein of Kentucky-born grass.

Grateful Web recently had the pleasure of chatting with Cameron Sears, once tour manager who became the President/CEO of Grateful Dead Productions. He was recently appointed as the new executive director of the Rex Foundation. This pivotal charity rooted organization was formed in 1983 to foster the power of community, service, and the arts. The foundation was named after beloved roadie and Dead family member Rex Jackson who died in a tragic auto accident in 1976.

Every two years, the Venice Biennale brings together the world's most interesting artists, musicians, and performers for a unique, high-energy gathering. This October, Rex offers a chance to immerse yourself in the Art and Music Biennales, with concerts, in-house events, and plenty of opportunities to engage with the artists, your fellow travelers, and Venice. Among the resident artists are longtime Rex supporters Nicki Bluhm, Tim Bluhm, and John Kadlecik.

We are happy to announce new 2015-16 shows! New shows include fall tour dates that will visit the east coast, Florida, and Texas (with Chris Robinson Brotherhood). We are happy to return to the Boulder Theater for our annual Thanksgiving Celebration on November 27th and 28th. NYE sees us in Portland, OR at the Roseland Theater, followed by a two night run at the Crystal Bay Club on January 1st and 2nd. Tickets are on sale now.

Lockn' Festival presents Robert Plant and The Sensational Space Shifters for an exclusive two-night engagement that will feature two completely different sets on September 12 & 13, 2015. Plant has never done anything like this in his career, and it will undoubtedly make for some unique and historical moments.

Quickly becoming one of the most anticipated music festivals in the nation, The Forecastle Festival is back for another big year with headlining acts Sam Smith, My Morning Jacket, and Widespread Panic down on the waterfront in Louisville, Kentucky on July 17-19. Other promising performances include Modest Mouse, Cage the Elephant, The War On Drugs, Tweedy, Houndmouth, and Portugal. The Man. The festival will also feature several late night shows including Talib Kweli and The Floozies.
