Summer is music festival season. Plain and simple. It’s the easiest time to travel to whatever destination and have the assurance that you will be comfortable and satisfied with variable weather conditions. Friday and Saturday night the clouds part under the light of the moon and we shall emerge from the weight of the earth to let our souls shine in the light of immortality. We have become something else, something less beautiful, passionate to create. We are still Alive…We are still Sexy…We are ZOMBIES!

On Thursday, for at least the third time in the last 12 months, the electro-dance-rock duo BoomBox graced our fair city and the Fox Theater with their pulsing beats and feel-good funk. Guitarist Zion Godchaux and DJ Russ Randolph seem to like it here against the mountains, and it’s lucky for us that they do. In fact, they like the Boulder crowds so much that this time around, they brought a camera crew for a live music video shoot.
