Spirits were flying high at the Miami Beach Bandshell this past weekend for the third year of the beloved North Beach Music Festival. With some of the funkiest names in live and jam music gracing the stage to their adoring fans, this winter gathering has quickly solidified its place as one of the year's can't-miss fests. A perfect blend of intimate and tropical, we already can't wait to see what they have in store for us next year.

Yesterday witnessed the first day of the first ever North Beach Music Festival, taking place at North Beach Bandshell in Miami, Florida. The day saw performances from some local acts like The Heavy Pets, and then later on saw headlining sets from the likes of The Motet, Karina Rykman, and Pigeons Playing Ping Pong.

Some of the Nation's top jam, funk, and improv bands are headed to Miami for the North Beach Music Festival at the intimate seaside Bandshell Park on Friday and Saturday, December 10th and 11th.

The Heavy Pets host their third annual Holiday Ball at the North Beach Bandshell on Saturday, December 21. One surprise delight that never gets old is finding amazing bands in our own backyard. With Rhythm Foundation’s reputation for presenting international touring artists, we sometimes forget that South Florida is one of the richest musical cauldrons anywhere.

The Heavy Pets have announced a 10th Anniversary ‪‎"Tour Da Florida” run with 11 shows in eight of their favorite towns including a performance at Dunedin's Oktoberfest, a two-night stand at the Funky Buddha Lounge in Boca Raton including the premier of Walrus: A Beatles Tribute, and a three-night run in Key West during Fantasy Fest. 

The Heavy Pets announce the themes for their four-night headlining stand at Dunedin Brewery’s Spring Beer Jam taking place March 26-29, 2015. The band will present reinterpretations of popular Pets tunes to fit the themes as well as first-time-played covers and originals each night with no repeats throughout the week.

The Heavy Pets kick off their Winter Tour 2015 this weekend with their first headlining San Francisco two-night stand at the Boom Boom Room.

The Heavy Pets have released Stolen Smile, the third in a series of self-produced EPs the band has been working on amidst their rigorous tour schedule, which recently surpassed 1,000 performances. Following the success of the first two in the series, Two Horses and Rags and Aces, the Pets stuck to the same formula of tracking and mixing close to home at South Florida’s Power Station Recording Studios.
