Grammy-nominated blues and soul powerhouse Janiva Magness releases her new single, “Slipped, Tripped and Fell in Love,” today, offering listeners a joyful and deeply soulful preview of her forthcoming live album, Truth in the Room: The Clearmountain Sessions, due August 7 via Blue Élan Records.

The result is Truth in the Room: The Clearmountain Sessions, recorded and mixed by legendary engineer and mixer Bob Clearmountain, whose résumé includes some of the most iconic live and studio recordings in modern music.
