Colorado’s beloved roots ensemble Elephant Revival will perform at Dillon Amphitheater, located at 135 W. Lodgepole Street in Dillon, Colorado, on Friday, September 18, for an evening of music with immersive electronic duo Desert Dwellers. Special guests include aerialists and MaMuse.
Known for creating immersive, soul-stirring live experiences, Elephant Revival’s music has been described as “like weather systems meeting in the sky.” Fronted by Bonnie Paine, whose warmly haunting voice seamlessly merges with the band’s rhythms and melodies while offering a captivating counterpoint, the group has earned a devoted following for its genre-defying sound.
A unique collective of multi-instrumentalists, Elephant Revival blends Celtic, Americana, folk, indie, and art-rock influences into a musical experience that is both intimate and expansive. The band features Bonnie Paine on vocals, cello, djembe, washboard, musical saw, and stomp box; Bridget Law on fiddle and vocals; Dango Rose on upright bass, mandolin, banjo, and vocals; and Darren Garvey on drums, percussion, and vocals. David Brown of Rising Appalachia will also perform on guitar and vocals.
The evening will also feature a partnership with Trees, Water & People, whose work in local water preservation, river restoration, and Indigenous youth alliances will be highlighted between sets.
