Oteil Burbridge and LaMP will join forces for the first time this October for a four-city Northeast run benefiting Make-A-Wish.
The Wish Benefit Tour 2026, presented by Fiddlehead Brewing Company, will bring Burbridge together with the Vermont-based trio of Russ Lawton, Ray Paczkowski, and Scott Metzger for shows in Saratoga Springs, South Burlington, Brooklyn, and Somerville from October 6-9.
Known worldwide as the bassist for Aquarium Rescue Unit and the Allman Brothers Band, and as a founding member of Dead & Company, Burbridge has built a career around adventurous improvisation and powerful live performances.
LaMP brings its own deep improvisational pedigree. The trio features Russ Lawton, Ray Paczkowski, and Scott Metzger, whose work with Trey Anastasio Band, Joe Russo’s Almost Dead, and other projects has earned them a reputation for deep grooves and exploratory playing.
The October run will mark the first time Burbridge and LaMP have performed together, creating a rare collaboration built around both musical discovery and a larger cause.
All proceeds from the tour will benefit Make-A-Wish Vermont & Northeast New York and Make-A-Wish Massachusetts & Rhode Island, supporting children with critical illnesses across Vermont, Massachusetts, and New York.
The partnership also carries a personal connection for Fiddlehead Brewing Company. Co-owner Amy Cohen’s son received a wish more than a decade ago, and the tour grew out of her family’s experience with the organization.
The four-night run begins October 6 at Universal Preservation Hall in Saratoga Springs, followed by Higher Ground in South Burlington on October 7, Brooklyn Bowl on October 8, and Somerville Theatre on October 9.
