Temperatures rose into the high 80’s on the final day of Rockville 2018 in Jacksonville Florida as veteran rock bands dominated the roster. The Foo Fighters turned in the best set of the festival stretching more than two hours, past the official festival. Billy Idol and his band also turned in a set of classic rock hits.

It was another gorgeous spring afternoon in Jacksonville on Saturday, April 28, the second day of 2018 Welcome to Rockville Music Festival. A bigger audience than the day before flowed into the festival early on. By the time the Swedish heavy metal band Avatar hit the main stage in the early afternoon, a large crowd had already formed. One of the only groups on the roster from Europe, these colorful musicians have been keeping Glam rock alive in their unique way, since 2001.

New York-based americana artist Greg Jacquin shares the video for "Floating" via Pure Grain Audio, who writes about the track, "'Floating,' is a lazy but upbeat tune that whisks the listener away to a nearby stream on a warm, sunny day."
"Floating" is the second track off Jacquin's recently released Hudson River LP. In Jacquin's own words, "'Floating' is a song about having to move back to the town you grew up in after years of falling out of touch with everyone and everything."

Mark Wenner, founder and leader of beloved roots band The Nighthawks, announces a June 15 date for the self-titled debut CD of Mark Wenner’s Blues Warriors on EllerSoul Records. Joining Wenner (vocals, harmonica) in the band are fellow Nighthawks mate Mark Stutso (drums, vocals), as well as Clarence “The Bluesman” Turner (guitar, vocals), Zach Sweeney (guitar) and Steve Wolf (upright bass).

Spring is springing and Terrapin Flyer with Melvin Seals are hitting the road again this time going East! Along with Melvin is a great new configuration that includes two players who have never toured with Terrapin with Melvin. The tour will feature bassist extraordinaire Janis Wallin who played with Melvin and Steve Kimock in Crazy Engine and has played many previous TF shows that did not include Melvin.
