Nearly three-quarters of a century after Woody Guthrie pressed “record” in his Brooklyn apartment, 35 of those intimate reels are stepping into the spotlight. Woody At Home – Volumes 1 & 2 lands August 14 via Shamus Records (the new imprint of TRO Essex Music Group, Guthrie’s longtime publisher), offering 22 never-before-heard recordings—including 13 songs the folk icon captured nowhere else—and three revealing spoken-word tracks.

Today, Devon Allman and Duane Betts are thrilled to announce the ninth annual Allman Betts Family Revival Tour.  The 20-date cross-country tour kicks off in Saint Louis, MO on November 29. The tour will make stops throughout the country, including NYC, LA, and San Francisco, as well as new markets like San Antonio and Tucson.

A cavalcade of accomplished, like-minded musicians with connections to Jerry Garcia, Phil Lesh, and/or Lesh’s Terrapin Crossroads nightclub appeared in San Francisco on July 31 for The Heart of Town, a four-hour, all-killer-no-filler tribute to Garcia, “GD60,” and the spirit of San Francisco.

Mid-July, The String Cheese Incident made their institutional return to their home base in Colorado and played back-to-back solid shows to capacity crowds at the world-famous Red Rocks Amphitheatre. This year marked their 19th year to perform at the location many refer to as ‘the best venue on earth,’ delivering their forty-eighth and forty-ninth gigs respectively since their first performance in the sound sanctuary in 2000.

Tedeschi Trucks Band is as much a musical movement as they are a band. They are a large group of gifted musicians that travel around the country together as a family, bandmates and friends. Rising singer-songwriter Tommy Prine unveils his latest single, “Standing in the Middle,” a poignant reflection on gratitude, homesickness, and emotional presence, available to stream HERE. The track is the newest offering from his upcoming EP Love Circle, due out August 20.

Jerry’s birthday brings sweet news for Front Range Deadheads: Melvin Seals & JGB return to the Boulder Theater for two nights, Friday, October 31 and Saturday, November 1, 2025, with an immersive Halloween light experience by Liquid JPEG turning the room into a swirling, analog-meets-digital dream. Lucius have dropped a five-song EP, Live From World Cafe, as a pay-what-you-can release on Bandcamp, with 100% of proceeds pledged to WXPN and its widely syndicated music program, World Cafe. Recorded at WXPN in Philadelphia on May 22, 2025, the EP is available now through Sunday, August 3.

Ezra Bell, one of the 21st century’s most organically successful folk/Americana bands, has released the official music video for their single “Tommy’s Lullaby.” The somber track was first released in August 2024 just weeks before the unexpected death of the band’s lead singer and lyricist Ben Wuamett.
