When time and tour schedules allow, members of the Green Leaf Rustlers, an amalgamation of members of several current successful bands, present a stimulating array of classic adaptations of American Country Roots & Blues, including the Bakersfield Sound. Such was the case on March 28 at Sacramento’s enduring rock club, Harlow’s, where the band finished up a tidy 10-date California tour before heading to Alaska for a triad of early April shows.

Son of Cloud (nee Jonathan Seale) has released his self-titled debut album today, April 12th 2019. After years spent as a successful producer, working with artists such as Feist, Lucius, Fleet Foxes, Andrew Bird and more, and time spent fronting the Brooklyn-based band, Flearoy, Seale is ready to make his mark as a solo artist.

Texas and UK-based rockers Ryan Hamilton and The Harlequin Ghosts unveiled the official music video today for their new single "Mamacita," the lead track off their debut album, This Is The Sound, due out Friday, May 31st via Steven Van Zandt's label, Wicked Cool Records. For the third year in a row generation of Deadheads flocked to the Ventura County Fairgrounds for the Skull and Roses Festival. Over 25 bands played cover songs from the vast Grateful Dead catalog as well as original material and other classic rock songs for three long days and nights. The campground was full by early Friday afternoon, April 5th with as many as four generations of family and friends gathered in the comradery of the intimate festival.
