The Philadelphia area’s newest formed funk and soul supergroup, Star Kitchen, will make their debut performance at the Ardmore Music Hall this Friday November 9.

Mihali has officially dropped “Fading State”, the new dub-reggae single from his forthcoming debut solo album. “Fading State” is the first solo effort from the Twiddle frontman and features guest vocals from socially conscious music luminaries Nahko (Nahko and Medicine for the People) and Trevor Hall, and is produced by Johnny Cosmic of Stick Figure.

The sad passing on October 12 of Andy Goessling, founding member of Railroad Earth, the ongoing host band for the Hangtown Music Festival (Oct. 25-28), was a unifying thread at this year’s fest, prompting outspoken love, respect, and admiration. The Lil Smokies’ “Rocket Man” is the first of the SnowGhost Singles, which were recorded in a single day session at SnowGhost Music with engineer Brett Allen (The Avett Brothers, Kris Kristofferson).
